Finish It Fridays / Open Classroom
Take some time for yourself and get your projects done in our classroom. On nearly every Friday this Fall you can come in and work on your latest endeavor. Bring a friend or two and have a girls’ day out! Our classroom is open for your sewing pleasure. Generally, a teacher will NOT be on hand, (if you need specific help, check out our “Sandy, Can You Help Me?” sessions on pg. 14.) but our floor staff will be more than happy to offer advice when we are able. In addition, you are welcome to come use the space any time there is not a class in session, during open hours. Think of us as your place to get away from the hassles of home, work on a secret project as a gift for someone at home, or as a fun place to come and get inspired, motivated, and back on track with past UFOs or a new project! Please call to reserve your space so we know who’s coming.
Classroom open from 10 AM-4 PM all Fridays in January and March.
Call for availability to come any other days as well as Fridays in February.

Whenever there is not a class in the classroom, you are welcome to come and sew. Bring your own machine, or use one of our fabulous Pfaff machines.

Sandy Can You Help Me?
Need some help getting a perplexing project completed? Sandy is scheduling time to give you the help you need! This is for the hard-to-do, new and unusual, my-brain-hurts and I-can’t-figure-it-out kinds of things...If the project is straight from one of our previous classes, then there is no fee. Otherwise, fees range from $10 to $25 depending on the project. If no one is registered for that time slot, she’ll be elsewhere, so be sure to sign up early!
   •  Tuesday, 10 AM-1 PM: January 29
   •  Wednesday, 3-5 PM: February 13
   •  Friday, 10 AM-1 PM: February 29
   •  Thursday, 1-4 PM: March 20
   •  Monday, 11 AM-2 PM: April 7

 

Skill Levels – To ensure your success, classes have been identified as follows:

• Level 1  Has a sewing machine and knows how to operate it
  
• Level 2  Can quickly and accurately rotary cut without assistance. Maintains 1/4" seam allowance without help.
  
• Level 3  Knows most fast machine piecing techniques, strip piecing, etc.
  
• Level 4  Intermediate skills.
