Spy Glass

Eunice decided to revisit some Marti Michell templates for those of us who have invested in them. You’ll love the secondary pattern that emerges when this quilt is put together. It takes some concentration but it’s well worth the time. She changed the pattern to remove some of the seams. $25

Pond Scum (Use It Up!)

This colorful Drunkard’s Path quilt is reminiscent of the greens of the late 50’s or early 60’s. There are several ways to make the block, and one includes trying out the curve presser foot. The one Sandy prefers is using the Gath-A-Round tool. Try each technique to see which one you like best. $10 or FREE with a “Use It Up!” Pass

Spring Baby Quilt

This is an easy-to-make baby quilt. In this class we will cover making a few 1/2 square triangle blocks & a few 1/4 square triangle blocks. The nine patches are made using the strip piecing method. It’s not a big quilt so each portion is made quickly and the quilt is done quickly. If there is a baby in your life, this is an easy way to make a quilt for it. $25

If you have never used the Gath-A-Round Drunkard’s Path tool set, this is your chance to master not just the DP, but some of Sandy’s modifications that make this charming design. This is a traditional block with a few interesting variations. It is one of those quilts that just looks best if it is done with scraps. If you have some of those, come and make this quilt with us. You can make it any size. There are a few tricks to making the blocks but they are not difficult. $25

This simple and fun project uses triangles that you can make without all that 7/8” math which we love to hate. The quilt is delicious. One sample is made from flannel, the other is not. Choose the size you want. $10 or FREE with a “Use It Up!” Pass

Dragonfly
Level 2, Eunice
This fun quilt is another one that is revisiting the Marti Michell template sets. You don’t need them though if you have another way to make the Sunray Star blocks. We will also be using triangle paper so if you haven’t tried it, this could be the time. If you look closely at this quilt, you will see circles. The name comes from the great dragonfly fabric chosen for the border. $25

Quadruple Irish Chain
Level 2, Eunice
This is not a quilt you will finish quickly but an introduction to using up the leftovers from making other quilts. The end result of making other quilts is this quilt. Without ever sitting down to make all the nine patches to make this quilt you can end up with this quilt. Join us to learn the secrets of controlling those little leftover pieces of fabric you just can’t throw away and start to make your own king sized Quadruple Irish Chain. $25

Wheel of Fortune Level 2, Eunice
This quilt started out as a table runner but it was such fun to make the blocks that it grew. This is a good way to learn about curved piecing. The curves are not too tight so it goes together easier than you might think. Come give it a try. This is another scrappy quilt so fish through your leftover fabrics from other quilts and just buy a good border that pulls it all together. $25

Why not take advantage of our Workshop concept. You select 5 classes listed in the $25 to $28 range in the ELECTRIC NEEDLE section taught by Sandy or Eunice. Pay for four and the fifth one is FREE! What a deal! Sorry, no make-ups or handouts for missed workshop classes.

Pick Your Own Schedule:
Are there classes listed here that you would LOVE to take, but they are offered at a time when you just aren't available? You can take almost any Electric Needle or Clothes & Fun Stuff class in a private session without additional fees. Pick the class, tell us when you are available and we'll try to work you into the schedule. You will get "almost" private lessons for the class you choose. It's a great way to move ahead, on YOUR time schedule.

Pick Your Time with Sandy or Eunice:
We also will schedule any class for you and your group of friends (minimum enrollment 4)
at a time convenient for you. The class can take place in our classroom or at your
location. Talk to Sandy for specifics.
