If you love the look of heirloom sewing, with all the eyelet, lace, pintucking and insertions, but think it is too difficult, think again! Let Charlotte show you how easy it is to create beautiful heirloom projects with your sewing machine and a few fancy stitches. She’s planning to repeat her exquisite Heirloom Quilt soon, so come to the Intro to be able to join her for the quilt classes.

Introduction to Heirloom Sewing Level 2

Learn the basics of Heirloom Sewing by Machine in this incredible class. Charlotte will teach you many of the techniques of heirloom sewing in the first session, then follow it up with a lace shaping class in the second session. Learn to sew lace to lace, sew entredeux to embroideries and between laces. You’ll be amazed at how simple it is to create the most exquisite projects like baby bonnets, christening gowns, blouses, sachets, hankies, etc. on your machine.
$50 + kit fee
• Mondays, 10 AM-1 PM: May 5 and 19
