Cindy Casciato and Chris will be hosting the retreat.
You may work on your own projects, or our fun Mystery project!
Cindy developed a technique-filled Mystery Quilt to teach you
lots of quiltmaking techniques for half square triangles, flying geese,
quarter square triangles, gem blocks and more!
Plus, we're hosting our first every murder mystery on Saturday evening!
It's a Quilt Shop Mystery, and it will surely keep you in stitches of laughter!

Dear Quilter,
You are cordially invited to attend our Quilters' Fling Luncheon and
Antique Quilt Presentation on Sunday, March 18 at the historic GAR
Hall ,1785 Main Street, Peninsula, Ohio 44264. Doors will open at 12
noon with lunch served at 1 PM. The cost of the event is $29 which
includes the quilt show and presentation, welcome gift and lunch,
beverage and dessert.
In the Fall of 2011, Quilters' Fling held our annual "Jingle Bell
Quilt Shop Hop." Participants were given chapters to a story that was
based on the life of area resident, Carol Chamberlain. The story,
"Snowbound at Grandma's," written by Ronnie Rajkovich, owner of the
The Polka Dot Pincushion, brings the family's antique quilts to life.
This historic look at quilts made by six generations of women and
memorabilia from their historic home will be fascinating to quilters
as well as history and genealogy buffs alike. There will be a reading
of the story as well as historical information about the quilts. In
addition to the antique quilts, there will be a display of challenge
quilts from the Hop and a viewing of the Shop quilts made by each of
the quilt shops involved. It is sure to be a fun-filled afternoon!
Please RSVP to Beth Safick at Cottonpicker's Quilt Shop to reserve
your spot for the luncheon. Seats are on a first come basis and are
limited to 100.
