A
Note from Sandy . . .
Happy New Year, happy quilter! First
of all, thank you so much for all your support in 2009. It was definitely
an exciting first year in our new location, and we so appreciate all
the wonderful compliments on our displays, “revolving quilt
shows,” new sign and lace curtains! It has been a fun time.
But it would be all for nothing without your generous support. We
know how hard it has been for you these past few years, and every
purchase means we can stay here a little longer. So we hope you will
take a good long look at the classes and hopefully find a few that
appeal to you. We love being a part of your success. Thanks for your
continued kindness.
Have we got some great plans for you for the upcoming
months! New programs, new classes, new projects, products...new, new,
new! And check out our coupons on p. 10, in the February calendar--the
only place we had room to put them, but they aren’t just for
February.
February will kick off our $5 Samplers again! Don’t
skip ahead, but the projects are so exciting. Check out the details
on p. 2.
Linda is offering you several continuing clubs for
Pfaff owners and 4-D software owners. Also, she’s teaching three
incredible Jenny Haskins certified classes. Linda is an official accredited
tutor of JH classes. You won’t want to miss these. It’s
worth getting that Embroidery machine you’ve been wanting, right
now!’ just so you can create these elegant projects. We have
some wonderful financing coming up. The time is now, ladies. Consider
putting those tax refunds to good use with a new machine!
Wendy is back with her favorite core classes. Be sure
not to miss out on her Fabric Painting in April. And Mary Huey is
back with some exciting Marti Michell template classes. Eunice is
taking over some of my Electric Needle classes for me. She’s
such a wonderful teacher. I need to have some extra time to drive
this bus and keep things running smoothly for you. Eunice has been
with us for a long time and we are blessed to have her here to help
you over the bumps and humps on your quilting road. And NEW.....We
have a few new team members who are ready and willing to help serve
up your dreams for you. Just stop in and say Hi! and get to know them.
When we advertised for help, we were deluged with talent. We are still
working through the applicants. There are some talented people waiting
in the wings for you, when we have the budget to put them aboard.
You’ll enjoy spending time with Charlotte and Annika on the
sewing machine floor. They have years (lots of years -- and we’re
not counting) of amazing experience in machines. Ask them anything
you like and do go over to the machines and have a seat. Let them
show you what they are making each day.
It’s time to sign up for the Spring Retreat.
This year we are going high end at low end prices. Grab a roommate
and get yourself into the party! You won’t want to miss it.
The rooms are too wonderful, with refrigerators and microwaves and
beds fit for a princess! Do join us. You’ll have a wonderful
time. Spots are filling quickly, so hurry!
Be sure to read this issue from cover to cover as
it is bursting at the seams!
Until we see you in the shop,
Make a Quilt, Make a Memory!
